Lizzie joined SIRC in November 2012 after graduating with a first class honours degree and working at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Since working at SIRC Lizzie has worked on a number of projects covering a range of research techniques and all of SIRC's core themes.
Since working at SIRC Lizzie has gained extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques and data analysis. During her time at SIRC Lizzie's focus has been on researching sports participation, particularly in young people, conducting national programme evaluations and measuring the Social Return on Investment in sport.
Lizzie also has experience in researching the impact of major events, mostly economic impact and inspirational effects analysis. She also works on SIRC's National Benchmarking Service for sport and leisure centres.
Lizzie has worked for a range of clients, namely Sport England, UK Sport, the Youth Sport Trust, Sport Northern Ireland and DCMS.
