Joanne is a senior lecturer in Geographic Information Systems. She joined Sheffield Hallam University as a lecturer in 2001 supporting research and teaching IT skills, statistics and GIS.

About
As part of her role as the first year tutor for the BSc Geography course she works closely with the BSc Geography course and the Student Support Services teams.
Currently Joanne is undertaking a project to explore population geodemographics and environmental health issues in the UK. Joanne is also part of a four-person research team exploring the urban Sheffield environment in an empirical measure of emotional terms.
