About
I am a recent PhD graduate where my research involved working with a company to improve their operations by introducing forecasting into their processes.
My first degree was in psychology, after which I worked in a housing association providing support to vulnerable adults. After working in this field for some time, I changed course to undertake my PhD.
My research interests include forecasting, operations management, supply chain management, the internet of things and Industry 4.0 implementation.
I currently run a module in operations management for level 5 students which leads towards a CIMA qualification, and I also teach on modules for MSc students. I also teach on some apprentice degree programs for both undergraduates and post graduates.
I am undertaking my Post Graduate Certificate in Education to help improve my teaching skills further and underpinning my desire to offer as high a quality of education that I can offer to my students.
