    In service science teachers' personal constructs of Inquiry Based Science Education (IBSE). Linked to the European funded Chain reaction project (www.chreact.og.uk) the aims and objectives of this work are

    • to explore the views and beliefs on in service science teachers of IBSE
    • to investigate the changes in these constructs as a result of using the IBSE-based Chain Reaction curriculum materials over a year
    • to discover if the teachers develop a deeper understanding of the challenges of teaching using IBSE
    • to examine the sustainability of IBSE teaching in this cohort of teachers
