I began working as an apprentice mechanic after leaving school aged 16. After becoming ‘time-served’ I went back into education, industry and mathematics research.
I then moved into secondary education (mathematics) for the following 15 years, during which time I began developing ICT mathematics resources and assessment software for schools. For the last five years I have been working in the Mathematics Education Centre at Sheffield Hallam University and continue to develop my interest in visualising mathematics using dynamic geometry software.
