I am a Lecturer in Leadership and course and module leader on the MSc in Leadership (H&SC) based within the Centre for Leadership, Advancing Professional Practice Team. My professional background includes retail management and health care research, psychotherapy, training and management. I also practice as a leadership coach and facilitate organisational based group interventions.
I dissertation supervise and module lead on several level 7 15-credit related modules including Leading and Managing People and Managing People: Organisational Approaches. I teach and assess on HE levels 4, 5, 6 and 7 on variety of Inter-Professional Education modules related to professional practice, research, leadership and service improvement. I also module lead on HE level 7 Enhanced Critically Thinking Leader and Leading People Distance Learning modules.
With a background in psychology and team management, much of my work is based around experiential leadership development, coaching, group dynamics, systems and research methods. I additional have interests in HE teaching practice and the application of blended learning. My doctorate thesis was focused on leadership and management development using a phenomenological and critical approach towards analysis.
