My current focus and expertise lies within the expanding role of Advanced Clinical Practice. My key interest lies within the assessment and management of the deteriorating or acutely unwell patient. My current academic interest lies within developing the use of visual enhancement technologies to explore underlying anatomy to enhance the learning experience of our students.
I am a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner with a specialist interest in Intensive and Critical Care Medicine, and I aspire to deliver current, contemporary teaching within the key modules of Advanced Clinical Practice.
My current focus is to build up my teaching portfolio allowing me to work toward my Fellowship of the Higher Education Authority.

My intended research lies within investigating the Pulmonary complications encountered following complex upper gastric surgeries, looking specifically at pre-operative predictive spirometry as a prognostic indicator of pulmonary complications.
