As Head of Recruitment I am responsible for the recruitment to all taught portfolios (Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Part-time, Full-time and International within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

  • About

    I have worked at Sheffield Hallam University since 1999 in various academic roles. Prior to this I worked in the Building Control sector for 14 years. Since 2005 I have had a leadership role as undergraduate programme leader for the Built Environment Programme and then as Markets and Recruitment Lead for the Department of the Natural & Built Environment.

    My current role as Head of Recruitment is a Faculty wide role leading the team of Markets and Recruitment Leads from the various Departments.

    I deliver modules in Fire Safety at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I am particularly interested in human behaviour in fires. I also deliver undergraduate modules in building control, building technology, building pathology and structural appraisal of buildings.
