The Granary scoops sustainable restaurant status award

The Granary catering outlet, located in Heart of the Campus at Collegiate, has become the first at the University to receive a Sustainable Restaurant Association Award, after being awarded a 2/3 star rating for embedding sustainability and ethical values into all stages of its processes.

Jon Broadhurst, Head of Catering Services, said, 'We are pleased to have reached this accolade at our first attempt, and by working through the detailed plan, we will be looking to get the full three star rating next time around'.
