To be eligible to apply for the Wellbeing Accelerator programme, your innovation must address one or more of the following themes:
The AWRC Wellbeing Accelerator is an R&D-focused programme that supports pre-revenue and early-stage companies* developing products or services with health and wellbeing applications that align with the AWRCs impact themes.
Healthy and active 100
Innovation that prevents disease and supports people into 100 years of healthy active life (in support of children, through to older adults).
Living well with chronic disease
Supporting the management and treatment of chronic disease, such as cancer, stroke, musculoskeletal disorders, diabetes, obesity and neurological conditions.
Technological and digital innovations to promote independent lives
Focusing on new and emerging technologies to help people move, improving health and wellbeing across the population.
You should also be:

an academic team, business, or startup of two or more people, with or without an established company

developing an innovative product/service, or early-stage idea requiring rapid prototyping, testing, or validation

able to demonstrate clear benefit(s) for your end user
There is no geographical restriction for applicants and we work with entrepreneurs developing innovations that are digital or physical in nature.
