Viewers of Channel 4 last night saw how a team from Sheffield Hallam's Centre for Sports Engineering Research worked with Guy Martin on a 'gravity racer', a motor-less vehicle for racing on downhill roads. In the programme, Guy plummeted down a road in southern France to set a new world record of 85.61mph. This is the second time the University has worked with Guy on his record-breaking challenges.
