Hallam Collective In-conversations

Date: From Monday 20 July 2020 to Thursday 31 December 2020
Venue: YouTube (Past event - recording available to watch until 31 December 2020)

As the world continues to change around us, connections and community have never been more important. Over the next few months, Sheffield Hallam alumni, students and staff will be invited to join in a new series of on-line and in-conversation events aimed at helping you navigate the challenges facing us in the post-Covid19 world and engage in discussions.

Our first event 'Reflecting on Race and the BlackLivesMatter Movement' took place on Monday 20 July 2020. You can view the recording on YouTube. This is a great opportunity for you to hear from leading figures from the Black community who will talk through their experiences of racial inequality and reflect on the BlackLivesMatter movement and recent global protest. By watching the recording, you will learn about both the panel's unique personal and career journeys, the importance of allyship and how to navigate conversations on race and reshape our new world at home and work.

Keep an eye on this page for more details about future in-conversation events.
