How can our students help you

Monday 03 September 2018

Supported by The Venture Matrix Scheme, Sheffield Hallam University's Business Advice Centre, Innovate, provides organisations with the opportunity to receive free consultancy advice from our talented cohort of Business School students.

The advice centre and Venture Matrix has helped a range of global organisations achieve their business ambitions; offering support to entrepreneurs who are leaders in their industry. Students have worked on several projects which include helping clients discover new ways to expand into markets, develop new products, overcome promotional challenges, and conduct international market research.

Business and Enterprise Management alumnus, Michael White, accessed help from the Advice Centre. Whilst talking about the support he received, Michael said "I enjoyed the entire experience of working with (Sheffield Business School) students. My project brief was to outline a strategy for improving my company’s sales in Europe. The project was executed very effectively and the outcome was even better than I had hoped. I now have a clear vision of how to improve my sales in Europe and I’m very grateful to the students.”

The Venture Matrix was recently accredited with a Small Business Charter Award for its insightful support to aspiring entrepreneurs earlier this year, and work is currently underway to raise the profile of the advice centre amongst students, alumni, staff and the wider community.

If you think your organisation could benefit from receiving free consultancy advice, please get in touch to find out more about how our student talent can help you meet your business objectives.
