The British Council Alumni Awards celebrates the outstanding work of alumni who have studied overseas and showcased the value of receiving a UK higher education. MA Sports Journalism alumna, Taruka Srivastav, made it to the final of last year’s alumni awards. People realise the importance and prestige associated with the alumni awards, so being involved has really helped to increase my confidence."

"I currently work with Odisha Government for Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018 and the British Council has a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the state. So the state is well aware of the great work BC does and many people appreciate that I made it to the final of the alumni awards. You should definitely apply as you will get to meet some great minds and personalities from various fields."
