End-point assessment

All Apprenticeship Standards involve an end-point assessment, which is a synoptic test of the apprentice’s knowledge, skills and behaviours gained through their apprenticeship course and work-based experience. This assessment will typically be conducted by a third party that is independent from the delivery of the course and training, though there are some exceptions where the end-point assessment is integrated directly into a degree award. Sheffield Hallam University can talk to you about identifying the Assessment Organisation. We are currently applying to deliver the end-point assessment in Health Care Science (an integrated end-point assessment), with other applications planned.
