Advancing Digital Databases (Beginner)

In this session you will learn about the principles of databases and how to interrogate a database. This will include the differences between a spreadsheet and a database, how to build your own dataset and structuring select, update and insert statements. Additional topics will cover cross table queries and entity relationship modelling.
Pre-requisites:
- Access to a laptop or desktop with an internet connection
- Able to install Microsoft or data query programs
- If unable to, please state during registration as there can be a virtual solution available (pending numbers)
Who should attend?
You should attend if you are or new to databases or data as a whole or currently work in a data analyst role and wish to expand your existing knowledge.

Places are limited to 20 persons, and we will operate a first-come-first-served basis.
