Higher and degree apprenticeships: reforms and impact
Time: 9.30am - 1pm
The government's apprenticeship reform plans set out ambitions to radically overhaul the development, delivery and funding of apprenticeships in England. Plans include an acceleration in the development of higher and degree apprenticeships and the introduction of the apprenticeship levy for all large employers.
As a leading provider of higher and degree apprenticeships, Sheffield Hallam University is working closely with government to understand the implications of these reforms and to maximise the benefits of our apprenticeship programmes for both individuals and businesses.
The outcomes of the latest government consultation are due to be published by the end of October. We would therefore like to invite you to an update event so you can hear more about these reforms and the implications for your business.
Guest speakers will include Stephen North, Policy Lead for Higher and Degree Apprenticeships at the Department for Education, and Conor Moss, Director of Education and Employer Partnerships at Sheffield Hallam University, along with contributions from senior industry leaders.
