L&P Springs, a global bedding component company, are a key employer in the Sheffield City Region.

By partnering with Sheffield Hallam University, they were able to optimise their business and develop their staff.

What we did

We worked in collaboration with L&P to develop a programme that aligned with their business objectives, and allowed staff to diversify their skills in different departments.

The new recruits were sourced via Skills Made Easy — an organisation funded by Sheffield City Council.

They provided an all-round recruitment service for L&P. This included identifying eligible school leavers, filtering and prepping the candidates, providing guidance and arranging interviews.

The result

By partnering with Sheffield Hallam University, L&P Springs has already seen the upskilling of two existing staff and three new recruits via a Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship.
