Healthcare Science Practitioner
The Healthcare Science Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship has been developed by a trailblazer group of NHS trusts and services, and higher education providers.
It includes a combination of work-based learning modules and specialist education, which leads to a BSc (Honours) Healthcare Science in Cardiovascular or Respiratory and Sleep Sciences, in line with the National School of Healthcare Science's Practitioner Training Programme curriculum.
This apprenticeship prepares students for professional careers in cardiovascular and respiratory monitoring aspects of healthcare science by providing the underpinning knowledge, clinical skills, and interpersonal skills the profession demands.
Experience in the workplace will feed into a number of modules and the theoretical stance taught academically is designed to be applicable to the apprentices' working environment.
Places are available to join the course in September 2018. For employers with 15 or more learners, speak to us about a programme tailored to your business needs.
