As part of our Class of 2022 offer, we are offering all final year undergraduate and postgraduate students the chance to apply for our Hallam Internships Programme. As part of this, there are 120 internships available based in and around the Sheffield City Region. Please note: these opportunities close on 15 May.
You can now apply for internships with a range of employers from varying industries to help boost your experience and skills when you start applying for graduate roles or further study. These opportunities have been found especially for you, and if successful, you will be supported throughout your internship by the employer and the University. You will be provided with support and resources throughout your internship to measure your development from start to finish to help you articulate your experience to future employers.
This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in a work environment to develop your skills and contribute to a meaningful piece of work within a company.
How do I apply?
In order to look at the internships currently available, you will need to login to Handshake where you can search through the employers and opportunities to find the ones most suitable for you. You can only apply for up to 4 internship opportunities.
What support can I access?
Our Careers and Employability Team will provide dedicated support through the recruitment process, including advice on CVs and cover letters, and interviews.
Our Employability Advisers are holding 1-1 support sessions via Handshake from 3 May where you can get your tailored CV and cover letter checked, gain advice on which internships to apply for, and learn more about the Programme.
All you need to do to book is:
- Login to Handshake and click ‘Career Centre’
- Go to ‘Appointments’
- Press ‘Schedule a new appointment’ and choose ‘Hallam Internship Support Session’
