Course summary

  • Top up your existing accounting and finance qualifications to a full undergraduate degree.
  • Use case studies and real-world economic data to illustrate examples, applying them to the real world, taught concepts and ideas.
  • Develop practical skills and business understanding alongside academic knowledge, allowing you to progress to masters study.

Suitable if you have a foundation degree, HND or equivalent in accounting or finance, this course gives you a broad understanding of both accounting and finance within the business environment, suitable for a wide range of careers and allowing you to build on previous studies and experience.

How you learn

We introduce the main principles of accounting and we will also familiarise you with the business environment companies work in, then deepen understanding of the role and scope of finance. We use a balanced approach between theory and practice to understand both accounting and finance from different perspectives using teaching staff who have worked in industry and practice.

Home/EU students

Our tuition fee for UK/EU students starting full-time study in 2018/19 is £9,250 per year.
