The foundation year in biosciences and chemistry is designed to develop your academic knowledge, practical laboratory experience and problem solving skills to allow you to progress on to the first year of a degree within the Biosciences and Chemistry department.

You are also eligible to apply for the BSc (Honours) Science with Education and Qualified Teacher Status . Entry to the teaching course is subject to interview.

Equipment and facilities
On this course you work with
- high quality laboratories and learning spaces
GCSE Maths, English and Science at grade C or 4.
64 UCAS points, including 24 points from one full A level, or equivalent, or an alternative qualification such as an Access course.
Please note the University will only admit students who are aged 18 at the point of enrolment.
