On this course, you'll gain a firm handle on data analytics and its role in banking and finance. This course explores the application of data analytics in financial industries. You will work with contemporary platforms including cutting-edge SAS analytics software and Bloomberg financial terminals.
In the business part of the course, you examine and scrutinise the fundamental concepts of banking, finance and investment.
You will also learn technical skills associated with data analytics, and apply these skills in context of financial industries.

Entry requirements
All students
Undergraduate degree academic qualification with classification of 2:2 or equivalent in Computing, Computer Science, Maths or Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science or other relevant areas, or appropriate work experience.
Applicants who have acquired significant knowledge and skills in data analytics, database design and development using industry standard platforms and development environments or significant experience in financial technologies would be considered for admission.
If you are an International or non-UK European student, you need an IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in all skills, or equivalent.

Home students
Our tuition fee for UK students starting full-time study in 2021/22 is £8,490 for the course without a placement. Or £9,690 with a placement.
