Occupational therapy courses

Qualify for a rewarding career in healthcare on our occupational therapy degree courses. You’ll train to assess and treat people who have difficulties carrying out everyday activities because of disability, illness, trauma, ageing, and a range of long-term conditions.

Our BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy and MSc Occupational Therapy will qualify you to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council, to begin a career as an occupational therapist. And because the Department of Allied Health Professionals is one of the biggest of its kind in the UK, you'll get significant experience of cross-discipline working practices, preparing you to work in multi-professional healthcare teams.

Our courses have been expertly developed over the years alongside clinicians, education specialists, commissioners and service users to provide you with the support and skills you need to register as a qualified health and social care professional.

If you're interested in completing a research degree in this area, you can find out about the PhD and MPhil courses we offer in health and social care.
