Course summary

  • Develop and enhance the skills you need to take on a role with more responsibility.
  • Top up your current HND or Foundation Degree to a full undergraduate degree with honours.
  • Progress onto professional qualifications such as Qualified Teacher Status.

If you have a foundation degree or equivalent qualification with an early years focus and are employed or on voluntary placement in an early years setting, this course allows you to progress further and achieve a full honours degree. You gain the latest knowledge and thinking, learning approaches to developing effective practice in early years which draw on the latest research.

Entry requirements

All students

GCSE Maths, Science and English at grade C or 4.

Must hold a foundation degree or a degree. Must be employed or volunteering in a school and be supported by the headteacher.

Please note the University will only admit students who are aged 18 at the point of enrolment.

This course is not open to international students who require a Tier 4 (General) student visa to study in the UK. If you are an international applicant but do not require a Tier 4 (General) student visa, contact our Admissions Team to find out whether you’re eligible to apply.

Our tuition fee for UK/EU students starting full-time undergraduate study in 2019/20 is £9,250 per year.
