All our courses are designed around a set of key principles based on engaging you with the world, collaborating with others, challenging you to think in new ways, and providing you with a supportive environment in which you can thrive.

You learn from current developments in the airline and airport industries and contemporary research. You also develop research skills and digital skills, which will help you to work and study more effectively. You enhance your professional skills by working with employers through consultancy experience and reflecting on your performance.

Entry requirements

All students

Normally 120 credits at Level 4 and 120 credits at Level 5 (i.e. a total of 240 credits) from relevant (i.e. airline, airport, and aviation management) qualifications.

The entry requirements to the international top up pathway will be a relevant (i.e. airline, airport, and aviation management) HND or equivalent qualification plus an IELTS score of 6.0 with no element scoring less than 5.5. International students whose first language is not English will be admitted to the standard top up pathway if the student has an IELTS score of 6.5 with no element scoring less than 6.0.

Fees and funding

Home students

Our tuition fee for UK students starting full-time undergraduate study in 2024/25 is £9,250 per year. These fees are regulated by the UK government and are therefore subject to changes in government policy.

If you are studying an undergraduate course, postgraduate pre-registration course or postgraduate research course over more than one academic year then your tuition fees may increase in subsequent years in line with Government regulations or UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) published fees.
