Be more employable
Today's employers are looking for more than a degree. To be employable, you need hands-on experience and work-ready skills. And that's exactly what these amazing opportunities will give you.
Get valuable work experience
Go on a work placement
A lot of our courses include an optional, paid placement year. This is a fantastic opportunity to get significant experience within an industry related to your course. Many other courses also involve shorter placements. Find out more.
Take part in an internship
An internship enables you to apply and demonstrate the transferrable skills you've gained - in most cases by working on a specific project. But because it doesn't have to be in an area related to your course, it's also a great opportunity to try out something new. Find out more.
Get part-time work
We can help you find part-time work that fits around your studies, either on or off campus. Which means you can earn money and get experience while you learn. See the University Life tab on MyHallam or call into the Careers Connect.
