Student Reps are student volunteers who listen to your feedback and bridge the gap between students and staff by discussing any issues affecting your university experience. At Sheffield Hallam we have both Course and Department Reps. You can find out who your Student Rep is and how to contact them by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. There's no limit to what you can discuss with your Student Rep, this could be from resources to assessments and general feedback on your course.
As a result of Student Rep feedback, book choices on the English curriculum have changed and lectures and modules are much more interactive. Following conversations with students, the Department Rep for Aerospace Engineering started a petition to change their assessment structure. It was successful and implemented this year.
