Your new timetable
You may have noticed that your timetable looks different...
We've introduced a new and improved MyTimetable, you can find it by logging into MyHallam as usual.
Please only use MyTimetable to view your classes and exams
Please note that we discourage the use of the ‘SHUBetter’ app – this is not a SHU supported application and therefore the information on there may not be accurate or reliable.
Benefits / changes
More user-friendly and a modern look and feel
Mobile-friendly, so that you can access your timetable across devices (also compatible with screen readers and braille display for visually impaired users)
An option to receive notifications of late changes to timetables, reducing the chance of missed sessions
Access to your teaching timetable and exam timetable in one place and (where applicable) seamless integration of timetables for more than one academic year
Integration of your timetable into your calendar where it will be kept updated
You can enable the calendar integration by linking MyTimetable to your Google calendar. To do this, when using a PC, click on the sync icon next to the Add Timetable button and choose ‘My SHU Google Calendar’ from the dropdown menu.
To enable timetable change notifications:
1. Click settings in the top-right menu
2. Open the notifications tab
3. Click the pencil icon (next to the email option)
4. Enter your email address and confirm
We think it's a huge improvement on the previous system, our student testers agree:
· "I really like the option to combine per day of the week"
· "I like the activity type colours"
