Free personal training – we'll get there together
As a member of Hallam Active, you don’t just get access to our facilities. Our highly qualified, supportive and inspirational fitness instructors will go the extra mile to help you achieve your goals.
We offer all members a personal fitness programme, including two hours free one-to-one training sessions a month. Overseen by one of our fitness instructors, it's specifically designed to ensure you get exactly what you want out of your membership.
The programme includes
- completion of the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q)
- a brief talk on fitness, etiquette and health and safety
- a lifestyle discussion and design of a personalised programme to meet goals and fitness-related targets (monitored by staff if you want)
- a full demonstration of equipment
- one-to-one personal training sessions (2 hours per month)
- subsequent updates to the programme for a fresh challenge
