UK Engagement Survey

What is the UK Engagement Survey (UKES)?

It is a UK-wide survey open to undergraduate students and made available through the Higher Education Academy (HEA). It takes the form of an online questionnaire and asks for your honest and considered feedback on how you engage with your learning.

When does the survey happen?

The survey takes place every year, between March and June.

Why should I complete the survey?

This is an opportunity to tell us about how you engage with your educational studies, what you like about Sheffield Hallam, and which things you feel could be improved. We use this feedback to improve the experience for undergraduate students, so your contribution is extremely valuable.

How do I share my experience?

You will receive an invitation by email when the survey opens.

Working together

In response to your feedback, the University invests in what matters to you and improves the areas you felt could be better. Find out how your voice makes a real difference.

This survey is delivered by our Directorate of Student Engagement Evaluation and Research, if you would like to know more please email steer@shu.ac.uk
