The Facilities Directorate provides the range of essential services which underpin the unique Sheffield Hallam University experience and add value to university life.
With nearly 600 staff employed across both campuses and residential sites, we have a range of expertise to support the University community. Our services range from accommodation, portering and cleaning to sport and fitness facilities, catering, security and printing. We provide service excellence and value for money at all times by anticipating and understanding the needs of our customers and enhancing the student experience.
The Facilities Directorate mission statement, 'Together we make a difference' illustrates how members of Facilities Directorate staff individually and collectively contribute to supporting the University, its customers and visitors.
We aim to develop objectives which meet the University's mission and vision, ensure operational objectives are developed and maintained and, as an Investor in People employer, we are also committed to developing and training our staff to deliver the quality services that our customers deserve.
