Space management
The space management function within FD is responsible for:
- the allocation of space across the University's physical estate
- its allocation to planning units
- the distribution of space related costs
- space utilisation measurement
- the determination of future space requirements
The space managers work closely with the colleges and departments in determining their future space needs which informs the University's capital programme. The role is also responsible for developing the MICAD system to inform decision making around space needs, allocation and utilisation.
