No equipment workouts, also known as body-weight workouts, can be a great form of exercise both at home and in the gym if used effectively and can assist in increasing flexibility and coordination. 

Exercise progression can sometimes be more difficult to generate as it doesn’t include adding more weight. Most body-weight exercise progressions look to combine two different movements into one or make use of household items to increase the difficulty of an exercise.
