Practice Educator Professional Standards (PEPS) for Social Work - Training and Endorsement Guidance

The Social Work Reform Board made the decision that social work students should be assessed on placement by a practice educator who has met the learning outcomes set out in the Practice Educator Professional Standards. These standards set out requirements at two stages, commensurate with the different levels of complexity and responsibility in teaching, assessing and supervising social work degree students. The two documents below provide full information about the requirements, learning outcomes and timescale for implementation.
