    BA (Hons) Applied Social Science

    The University has been in partnership with the City University of Hong Kong since 2004. If you hold an appropriate Hong Kong Associate Degree you have the opportunity to top-up to a Sheffield Hallam University honours degree in Applied Social Science.

    The award is validated by Sheffield Hallam. You will be taught at City University by a combination of our visiting academics and on-line teaching and learning. Sheffield Hallam will assess the award. City University will provide ongoing tuition and support services including learning resources and student support.

    MSc Psychology

    The MSc in Psychology is the first and only Hong Kong-delivered Masters in Psychology with British Psychological Society accreditation.

    The Department of Psychology, Sociology and Politics at Sheffield Hallam University addresses contemporary issues in areas like mental health, education and the workplace. Our courses are focused on employability, applying theoretical learning to the real world.

    Our staff have teaching and research interests in a broad range of social sciences including psychology, sociology, social policy and politics, and areas of expertise within psychology such as child development, intelligence and neuropsychology. They conduct research for the scientific community, local authorities and government bodies, and consultancy work for business.

  • University of Hong Kong, School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPACE)

    BSc (Hons) Nutrition Health and Lifestyles

    The University has agreed that if you have successfully completed the requirements detailed below at University of Hong Kong, SPACE you can apply for admission to the final year of BSc (Honours) Nutrition Health and Lifestyles.

    You must have successfully completed all of the following to apply for entry:

    • Psycho Social Intervention Module
    • Advanced Diploma in Nutrition or Advanced Diploma in Child and Adolescent Nutrition
    • Advanced Diploma in Food Business Management
    • Advanced Diploma in Sports and Exercise Science Nutrition
    • Advanced Certificate in Human Biochemistry and Physiology

  • School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) of the Vocational Training Council

    If you hold an appropriate Hong Kong Higher Diploma you have the opportunity to top-up to a Sheffield Hallam University honours degree in

    BA (Hons) Business and Finance (top-up)
    BA (Hons) Business and Human Resource Management (top-up)
    BA (Hons) Business Management (top-up)
    BA (Hons) Jewellery and Metalwork (top-up)
    BEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering (top-up)
    BSc (Hons) Events and Leisure Management (top-up)
    BSc (Hons) Hospitality Business Management (top-up)

    The University works with School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) to deliver the above awards.

    The awards are validated by Sheffield Hallam. You will be taught at SHAPE by our visiting academics and also by local tutors we have approved. Sheffield Hallam will assess the award. Both institutions will work together to provide learning resources.

  • Institute of Administrative Management (IAM)

    BA (Hons) Business Management (Level 5)

    The University has agreed that if you have successfully completed your Diploma in Administrative Management at any IAM centre (with a minimum average mark of 50-55 per cent) you can apply for admission to Level 5 of the above course at Sheffield Hallam University.

    Other entrance requirements also apply.

    BA (Hons) Business Management (Level 6)

    The University has agreed that if you have successfully completed your Advanced Diploma in Administrative Management at any IAM centre (with a minimum average mark of 50-55 per cent) you can apply for admission to Level 6 of the above course at Sheffield Hallam University.
