How volunteering prepared Hassun for a career in teaching

A year after volunteering at the Calais refugee camp, Hassun El Zafar has just started his new job as a science teacher.
While he was training to be a teacher at Sheffield Hallam, Hassun El Zafar volunteered at the Calais migrant camp, teaching unaccompanied refugee children.
Now, a year later, he has graduated from Hallam and is starting out in his new career as a science teacher at Forge Valley School in Sheffield.
We caught up with him to find out how his experiences have prepared him for his new role.
