Postgraduate study discounts for class of 2024 and Alumni

Postgraduate qualifications can improve your confidence and employability, help you get a job in your field, and increase your earning potential. It also gives you the chance to carry on studying something you love, while continuing to be a part of the Sheffield Hallam student community.

As a graduate of the class of 2024, you have exclusive access to discounts if you decide to continue your studies with us. This is part of our support package which offers a range of tools, resources and events from across the University to help you upskill, plan and feel prepared for after your degree.

Class of 2023/class of 2024 - £2,000 discount on full-time postgraduate course fees for Home and International students*

Home or international students who have completed a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree, PGCE or PhD at Sheffield Hallam or earned a Sheffield Hallam accredited degree from one of our UK and overseas partners in the 2022-23 and 2023–24 academic years will be eligible for a £2,000 discount on fees for a full-time or distance-learning postgraduate courses starting in the 2024–25 academic year.

*Not all postgraduate taught courses are eligible for this discount.

Alumni who graduated in 2022 and before - £1,000 discount

If your course isn't eligible for the above offer or you completed your course before 2022 you may be eligible for an alumni scholarship. Find out more about other offers on the alumni scholarship page.

Terms and conditions

To access the discount you just need to apply as normal, and the discount will be applied automatically. Some courses may have limited places, so we would encourage applications as soon as possible.
You will also be entitled to the discount if you have already applied for or accepted an offer on an eligible course (and meet the other eligibility criteria).
If entry is subsequently deferred to the 2025–26 academic year or later, the discount will not be applied.

You will not be eligible for these scholarships if you have only completed a foundation degree, degree apprenticeship or HND programme with us.
Students who have only undertaken Exchange or Study Abroad, non-awarding programmes at Sheffield Hallam are not eligible.
Work experience routes are not included, unless specified.
