The University will be closed from Thursday 14 April at 5pm until Wednesday 20 April 8am. We still have a range of support available for students both in halls and at home during this time.

Library Services

Our two campus libraries are open 24/7 throughout the Easter Vacation, and Library Chat will continue to be available as part of the library online.

Supporting your wellbeing 

There is still lots of support and resources available to support your mental health and wellbeing.

If you require urgent help there are security staff available 24/7 on extension 2000 on internal phones or 0114 225 2000 if calling from an external line.

Our Student Wellbeing Service page provides information, advice and practical support for your psychological wellbeing. These services can help you manage your studies and make the most of university life.

Our online self-help service Togetherall, is free for students at Hallam. You can log in with your student email address.

Self-isolation support

If you do need to self-isolate, we can offer support with wellbeing, study, living essentials and more. Our self-isolation section has information on how to self-isolate and the support available during self-isolation.

Academic skills support

You can access online sessions, appointments and resources to develop your academic writing, exam revision strategies, referencing and research skills. Find out more.

Access to specialist technical spaces for self directed learning

There will be limited access to the spaces over the vacation, to book a slot, please contact a member of our team. 

Careers support

Our careers website contains information, advice, and online digital tools to support you through applications, searching for jobs, developing skills and much more.

IT support

If you have an urgent issue over the Easter period, you can still get IT Help by calling 0114-225-3333 and Library Help by calling 0114-225-2222, both available 24hours a day.

Students' Union

The HUBS will be closed from 5pm on Thursday 14 April and will reopen at 9am on Wednesday 20 April. Details of how to contact the Students' Union services can be found here.
