The International Committee for Design Histories and Design Studies is holding its 9th conference in Aveiro, Portugal.

As a member of the Executive Committee, Professor Paul Atkinson has been closely involved in its organization, and with Vasco Branco is convening a strand of the conference dealing with History of Technology: Traditions, Transitions and Trajectories.

A call for papers has already been issued, with a deadline of the 19th January 2014.
