Aims

  • to consult with those living with and beyond cancer and stakeholders in Sheffield to identify the critical success factors necessary to create a model of an exercise and cancer rehabilitation service in Sheffield
  • to consult with those living with and beyond cancer to identify their needs and preferences for a future exercise and rehabilitation programme – inclusive of determining programme content, expectations of cost, programme terminology, type of exercise to be offered, delivery venues, programme duration
  • to consult with clinicians and allied health professionals to understand and map the referral mechanisms within respective cancer care pathways to enable effective referral into a future exercise and cancer rehabilitation programme

Impact

Gather patients and stakeholder opinions on physical activity and cancer survivorship. Outline critical factors needed to develop a success and sustainable physical activity referral service for people affected by cancer.
