Our eventIMPACTS compliant approach is a comprehensive model for assessing the effect of an event on local, national and regional economies.
It measures an event’s economic impact by calculating the additional expenditure generated within a defined geographical area. This includes expenditure by both event-related visitors and organisers in staging the event.
This collective expenditure within the host location is termed the ‘direct economic impact’.
We tailor our approach to suit events of all sizes, across the full range of sports and venues. This flexibility, along with our innovative and discreet approach, makes us the perfect partner for events organisers.
Event Impact is a featured impact case study in the university's submission for Unit of Assessment 26 in REF 2013, the quality assessment of universities' research in England.
