From 16 July, there will be a new look and feel for the home page of Blackboard after you login. There will be no change inside Blackboard sites themselves. The contents of your sites will stay the same.

MyHallam is your student portal and gives you access to all the information you need about Sheffield Hallam, as well as access to tools like Blackboard, email, My Student Record and your timetable.

From first year students starting to use Blackboard, to soon-to-be graduates gaining skills for the workplace, the Sheffield Hallam Digital skills service will support you to learn skills alongside your study.

At Hallam we use Blackboard Collaborate and Zoom for online teaching and meetings. Keep up to date with your online appointments by regularly checking your timetable and emails.

Turnitin checks your submitted work for similarities to other academic work in a database. When you upload your work to the Turnitin section of a Blackboard site, you’ll receive an originality report.
