Not applied through UCAS
You can find a university place at Sheffield Hallam by using the clearing process.
Here’s what you need for clearing and how it works in three simple steps.
Step 1: Make the call.
First, call us on 0330 024 6390.
When you ring up, you’ll need a full list of your results, plus your GCSE grades.
It’s also good to have your UCAS Personal ID number if you're already registered or your Sheffield Hallam student ID. This is an 8-digit number you can find on emails or letters sent by our admissions team.
Be prepared to talk about why you want to study the course. Think about what you wrote in your personal statement. You can find out how to apply with confidence here.
For some courses (e.g. health profession courses and teacher education), you will be required to have an interview before a decision is made.
If we make you an offer, we’ll email you the details, so make sure you use an email address you can check regularly.
Step 2: Fill in some forms
We’ll send you an application form and a questionnaire about your fee status, which you will need to fill in and email back to us.
You’ll also need to send us evidence of your qualifications. A photo of them will do at this stage.
Step 3: Accept your offer
Once we receive your completed forms and evidence of your qualifications, we’ll set you up with a UCAS record and confirm you have a place on UCAS.
UCAS will notify you once this is complete, and then you can access UCAS Track to view your offer.
