Gaining experience

If you feel you need to enhance your application further by gaining some supporting experience, below are some examples of the types of places where you could improve your skills. (Please note these are a sample of places from the local Sheffield area and it is not an exhaustive list. Many positions have a minimum of 6 month commitment. We recommend you contact any charities or organisations you find directly for more information on opportunities).




Sheffield Futures

Sheffield Futures offer a range of services to help young people who are perhaps disadvantaged. Volunteers can: help on personal development projects, get involved with community cafes, or help with the careers guidance team
