How to apply for a postgraduate or part-time degree

Once you've chosen the course you want to study, you need to apply for a place. If you are from outside of the UK view our how to apply information for international students.

Here's a step-by-step guide to how it works, from your application right through to starting your course.

Step 1
Complete the application form

Find the course you want to study on our online prospectus.

Go to the 'How to Apply' section for a link to the application form.

Complete and submit your application form.

There are no fixed application deadlines however our courses can become full so improve your chances by applying as early as possible.

Step 2
Responding to your offer

If you're offered a place, it will be a conditional offer or an unconditional offer.

  • a conditional offer means you have been offered a place as long as you meet the conditions shown on your offer letter. You may need to submit evidence of academic qualifications or work experience
  • an unconditional offer means you have been offered a place without any further conditions - so if you accept, you're definitely on the course

Step 3
Confirming your place

If you meet the conditions of your offer we'll confirm your place via email. To accept your place you need to sign and return your offer acceptance form.

Step 4
Start your course

Once your place is confirmed, we'll send you details about what happens when you start, including where to go, what to do and how to officially enrol on your course.
