Your student finance questions answered
How much does it cost to study at Sheffield Hallam?
Our full-time undergraduate tuition fee for UK and EU students starting university in September 2018 is £9,250 a year. If you are a UK student, your student loan will cover this. You only have to pay back this loan once you are earning more than £21,000 per year; this is increasing to £25,000 and will come in to effect on 6 April 2018.
Am I entitled to any financial support to help with living costs?
Yes. You can apply for a maintenance loan of up to £8,430 a year to help with living costs like accommodation, food, travel and course materials. You are entitled to at least 65% of the maintenance loan regardless of your family's income. Find more details.
