How much does it cost to study at Sheffield Hallam?

Our full-time undergraduate tuition fee for UK and EU students starting university in September 2017 is £9,250 a year. If you are a UK student, your student loan will cover this. You only have to pay back this loan once you are earning more than £21,000 per year.

Am I entitled to any financial support to help with living costs?

Yes. You can apply for a maintenance loan of up to £8,200 a year to help with living costs like accommodation, food, travel and course materials. You are entitled to at least 65% of the maintenance loan regardless of your family's income. Find more details.

How do I apply for student finance?

You need to apply online to Student Finance England (or ScotlandWales, or Northern Ireland). You can apply from February until 31 May.
