Nutrition for the Digital Age

 This online module aims to broaden awareness of the diversity of the digital world of nutrition and acquire skills that enable you to legally, professionally, ethically and responsibly negotiate and engage with this environment.

You'll hone your skills, enabling you to engage with, evaluate and disseminate digital information/ applications/platforms responsibly.  You'll find out more about data protection, confidentiality and intellectual property issues for nutritionists and explore your own digital presence. You'll explore various forms of digital nutrition including nutritional data collection, digital support and publicly available media, taking a reflective approach to the learning and assessment.

This course will be delivered through a combination of recorded lectures and online interactive timetabled seminars and workshops. These can all be accessed remotely via a broadband connection.

This module is taught at level 5 (equivalent to second year undergraduate). This is an assessed module that include 36 hours of academic delivery and an additional 164 study hours (including assessment).
