East Midlands Learning Beyond Registration (LBR) and Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) Eligibility

LBR Funding

A list of modules funded by East Midlands in 2019/20 can be found here. Please check this list before applying.

To apply for East Midlands LBR/ACP funding you need the approval of the manager(s) responsible for approving study at your workplace, and the authorisation of the relevant LBR Lead. Please refer to this list of authorised signatories - Health Education East Midlands LBR Leads (PDF 211KB) 

ACP Funding

The University will be supplied with a list of approved new students via Health Education England (East Midlands). Approved students will be invited to apply for the course by the University.  Please contact your Trust LBR Lead for further details guidance regarding ACP eligibility.

Private voluntary and independent sector organisations

Private, independent and voluntary sector organisations in the East Midlands region are no longer eligible for LBR funding in 2019/20.

Applications Process

  • Your organisation may also have a LBR application process and procedure which you will need to follow
  • Complete the module LBR/SSPRD application form. This form is both an application for funding and an application to study a particular module
  • Return your authorised form at least six weeks before the start of the module/course to the address on the application form, or email it with confirmation from the signatories to lbr-admissions@shu.ac.uk
