During this module you work with an individual tutor to design and carry out a research project. This includes a critical review of the literature, considerable laboratory work, analysis of data and an appreciation of the meaning and application of your work.

  • Entry requirements

    Applicants with a 2:2 in a relevant degree are encouraged to apply and will be considered on an individual basis. Applicants with alternative qualifications with academic attainment or skills in subjects which are directly relevant to the course will also be considered.

    The above must be evidenced in your application form.

    International students must have reliable internet access and be able to supply IELTS scores.

  • Assessment

    Module assessment is made up of one or more assessment tasks. The assessment task(s) for this module are:

    • Presentation
    • Practical Assessment
    • Viva: typically, a combination of a presentation/demonstration to one or more academics, with discussion, questioning and oral feedback

    Successful completion of this module will earn you 60 level 7 credits
